Cardinal Albrecht of Brandenburg, Albrecht Dürer. Metropolitan Museum of Art, George Khuner Collection, Bequest of Marianne Khuner, www.metmuseum.org
I recently came across the news that the Metropolitan Museum of Art has released 400,000 high-res images that are free for non-commercial use. There are a great many images here that could prove very useful for educational purposes. I’m definitely excited about these great images- and will be using this site as a resource for sure! Some highlights: Photography collection, and Modern and Contemporary Art.
Just be sure to use images that have this icon underneath it : . You’ll see it when you click to look at the image at full size.
